She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Clapper and Dorothy Starring Clapper; and her daughter Kimberly Guy. She is survived by: her son Hubert Guy (Tammy) of Fayetteville; her siblings, Carol Avery of New York and George Clapper of Colorado; her grandchildren, Richard Guy (Sarah), Jessica Panabaker (Jared), Brandy Guy and Ella Guy; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Panabaker and Henry Guy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boles-Biggs Funeral Home (801 N Chestnut St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Meadowbrook Cemetery (2500 N Walnut St, Lumberton, NC 28360).
