He was predeceased by: his mother Mary J Seals; and his siblings, Arter Seals Jr., Robert B. Seals and Nessie Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Valen B. Seals; his children, James M. Seals (Barbara) of Lenoir, NC, George E. Seals and Amanda L. Jacobs (Jimmy) of Lumberton, NC; and his siblings, Rudolph Seals (Kim) of Summerville, SC, Howard Pierce (Ella Mae) of Red Springs, NC, Peggy Locklear of Pembroke, NC, Sarah Oxendine of Pembroke, NC, Julie Brienhza (Mario) of New York and Nyoka Smith (James) of Lumberton, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
