She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Clyde Kemp, Sr. and Naomi Meares Kemp; and her siblings, Doris Jones, Nellie Kemp, Gaston Clyde Kemp, Jr. (Bobbie), Betty Rice (Charles), Jessie Welch (Michael), Robert Kemp, Charles "Chuck" Kemp (Hattie) and Horace Kemp.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Bean, Carol Bean, John Bean (Sherry) and Robert Bean (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Ashley Brissel, Ashley Carter, Michael Smith, Roger Scott, Jr. and Ian Bass; her sister-in-law Cathie Kemp Hoover; her great grandchildren, Morgan Bale, Kai Booker, Dameien Holmes, Ashton Carter, Breyton Carter and Kiri Orent; and her great great grandchildren, Cayson Deal and Archer Wade.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Calendar Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3131 M. L. K. Dr, Elizabethtown, NC 28337). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
