She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Melvin (Angie) of Lumberton, NC and Gene Melvin of Lumberton, NC; her brother Ted Taylor (Doris) of Lumberton, NC; her grandchildren, Chris Melvin (Brandie) of Holly Springs, NC, Brian Melvin (Becky) of Winterville, NC and Cory Melvin of New Bern, NC; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Noa and Dawson; and her daughter Annette Walwork.
