He was predeceased by: his parents, J. O. Boone and Allie Mae Bruce Boone; and his wife Darlene Boone. He is survived by: his siblings, J. D., Sam, Grace, Martha and Bertha; and his son Steven McLeod Boone (Jennifer) of Thomasville.
