With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Sampson of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 24, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Yvonnie Sampson; and his brother Patrick Wayne Sampson. He is survived by: his wife Mary F. Sampson; his daughters, Marie Thomas (Keith) of Lumberton and Gail Jacobs (James Matthew) of Lumberton; his grandchildren, Morris Lynn Hunt (Kiyah) of South Port, Shawn Hunt (Mackenzie) of Lumberton, Abigail Jacobs of Lumberton, James Michael Jacobs of Lumberton, Kyler, Colton and Evenlyn; his siblings, Ellery Sampson (Michelle) of Fairmont, Deana Hunt (Gary) of Fairmont and Shannon Sampson of Lumberton; his pet Butch; his pig Arnold Feathertale; his close friend Timmy Lewis; and his uncle Earl Sampson (Florence). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
