She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Oliver and Leila Smith Oliver; her husband Robert Lee Currie, Sr.; her son Robert "Bob" L. Currie, Jr.; her siblings, Robert S. Oliver, William Herman Oliver, John Clayton Oliver and Elizabeth Oliver; and her grandson James Lee Currie.
She is survived by: her children, William O. Currie (Doris) of Lumberton, NC, John A. Currie (Patsy) of Lumberton, NC and Nancy C. Pittman (Larry) of Lumberton, NC; her daughter-in-law Laurie F. Currie of Lumberton, NC; and her brother Thomas Smith Oliver of Charlotte, NC.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, her family has asked for friends and acquaintances to make a donation to any charity of their choice.
