She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas Stone and Mabel Alice Herring Stone; and her siblings, Wilton "Rocky" Stone, Mary Lou Cusimano, Lillie Ann Britt, G. A. Stone, Earl Stone and Joyce Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Little (Dennis) of Lumberton, NC, Jeannie Johnson (Donald) of Beaufort, SC, Sydney Stone of Burlington, NC and Dawn Gorter (William) of Oak Island, NC; and her sister Marilyn Meroney of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
