She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Smith and Hazel Brown; and her husband Ernest Todd. She is survived by: her children, Stuart Scott (Renee) of Sanford, NC, Esther Scott Jackson (Cecil) of Lumberton and Brenda Scott Fong (Ronald) of Chapel Hill; and her siblings, Sammy Smith of Lumberton, Priscilla Mizzell (Larry) of Lumberton and Kathy Meares (Elvin) of Bladenboro. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gospel Tabernacle Church (104 Carolina Ave, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
