He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Callahan and Omie Hill Callahan; his wife Sarah D. Callahan; his siblings, Billy R. Callahan and Kay Smith; his son-in-law Carlton Britt Jr.; and his grandparents, Lyde, Sallie Hill, Beechie and Lillian Callahan.
He is survived by: his children, Ladoska Britt (late Carlton Britt Jr), Frankie Williamson (Ken) and Franklin Scott Callahan; his grandchildren, Lauren Head (Jeffrey), Zachary Britt, Isaac Williamson of Andrew and Kaylan Britt; his great grandchildren, Salah Head, Beckett Williamson, Jeffrey Luke Head and Hendrixx Williamson; and his sisters, Maggie Overstreet, Renda Ranager and Kathy McCoin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
