He was predeceased by : his parents, Dan Bracey Sr. and Edna B. McComb; his stepfather Cleveland McComb I; his sister Edna Ruth Pittman; and his grandparents, Nina, George Baldwin, Mack and Mamie Bracey.
He is survived by : his children, Kodi McQueen of Shemya, Byron Mitchell, Asia Bracey of Lumberton, N. C. and Erica McLaurin of Fayetteville, N. C.; and his siblings, Barbara Bracey of Lumberton, NC., Dan Bracey Jr. of Hope Mills, N. C., Tony Bracey of Durham, N. C., Jean Best (Reginald) of Charlotte, N. C, Lisa McCombs of Raleigh, N. C. and Cleveland McComb II (Regina). He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
