He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fuller Lessane Sr. and Mattie Blount Lessane; his brothers, John F. Lessane Jr. and Arzander Davis; and his daughter Shelia Lennon.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Margaret Lessane; his children, Wanda L Jenkins Retia Lennon (Maurice), Sonya Lennon, Anthony Lewis, George A. Lessane, Terrell Lennon and Keith Lennon; his grandchildren, Brandon, Brittaney (Rockell), Barhon, Bria and Byrce; and his siblings-in-law, Evangeline Strickland Theon Thompson (Roosevelt), Brenda Wallace, James Campbell (Anne) and Frank Campbell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
