He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Berry and Letha Mae Thompson Berry; his wife Gloria Jean Barfield Berry; his siblings, Earnest Berry, Wade Berry, Eugene Berry, Leonard Berry, Earl Berry (Dan Berry, Jr.), Vera Mae Berry, Lucille Johnson and Christine Lane; and his great grandchild Alexandria Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Fettkether of Lumberton, NC, Christa Courtney (Doug) of Lancaster, SC, Marisela Flores of Lumberton, NC and Frank Flores of Lumberton, NC; his grandchildren, Brandon Johnson (Heather), Cindy Flores, Bree Flores and Eric Flores; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Dawn Johnson, Makaylie Flores and Adriana Flemming; his brother James Robert Berry (Gladys Britt) of Shallotte, NC; and his cousin Debbie Triantis (Gus). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
