We announce the death of Gregory James Owens of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ural Owens and Susie Martin Owens; and his brother Fred Owens. He is survived by: his wife Pamela J. Owens; his children, Bradford James Owens of Jacksonville, NC, Phillip Martin Owens of Lumberton, Shane Walters (Jessica) of Lumberton and Wendy Walters of Lumberton; his former spouses, Kelly Parsons (Berk) of Texas, Jami Schrock (Eddie) of Indian Trail, NC and Christina Seder (Don) of Dracula, GA; and his grandchildren, Jeremy (Yorleny), Emily, Elijah, Timothy and Anna Lee. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). The military honors was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sandhills Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
