She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Locklear and Martha Lee McGirt Locklear; her husband William Godwin; and her brothers, William Locklear and Leon Jones.
She is survived by: her significant other Lawrence Lowery, Jr.; her daughters, Pamela J. Godwin and Lawrenceen Godwin; and her grandchildren, Triston D. Lowery, Helena L. McGirt and Joshua C. McGirt. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
