He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosdon Locklear and Naomi Locklear; his wife Carlan Locklear; and his siblings, Zelma Maynor, Junita Sampson, Ronie Allen, Pansy Sampson, Helen Hunt, Thurman Locklear, Will Avery Locklear and Earl Ray Locklear.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Locklear (Wendy) of Pembroke, Carolyn Jacobs of Lumberton, Ronnie Locklear (Cathy) of Lumberton and Kathy Stocks of Lumberton; and his siblings, Carson Locklear (Zillie) and Joann Campbell (Doug). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of relatives and friends.
