She was predeceased by: her father Elton Dial; her son Deon Hammonds; and her brother Marion "Chico" Dial. She is survived by: her husband Donald Sanborn; her daughter Winona Lowery (Cheyenne); her grandchildren, Hannah Lowery, Halle Lowery, Cheyenne Lowery, Jr. and Shania Lowery; and her siblings, Jerry Dial, Larry Dial, Melvin Dial, Peter Dial, Paul Dial and Clarice Dial. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
