He was predeceased by: his father Luther Jacobs; his wife Lummie Jacobs; his son Timothy Jacobs; his stepfather Neil Archie Jones; and his siblings, Neil Jr., Joseph, Luther, Johnny, Wilson, Frances, Carriemae and Luellen.
He is survived by: his children, Mary-Ann Jacobs and Sammy (Jamie) of Lumberton; his daughter-in-law Teresa (Bryan); his grandchildren, Chasity (Jeremy), Alexia, Angelica, Randall and Shane; his great grandchildren, Keylan, Ayden, Channing, Bricyn, Chloe and Samuel; and his sisters, Dovie (Horace), Vashtie (Ronnie) and Christine Chavis. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
