With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacqueline Hunt of Lumberton, North Carolina, born in Dillon, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Luther and Phodie Lee Hunt; her husband Jimmy Ray Hunt; and her sister Trudy Hunt. She is survived by: her children, Jessica Hunt McCallum (Frederick) of Rowland, Heather Petrie (Justin) of Pembroke and Sonny Hunt of Lumberton; her siblings, Nellie Faye Lowery (David) of Rowland, James David Hunt (Annette) of Greensboro, Caroline Mann (Charlie) of Jacksonville, FL, Cynthia Harris-Rogers (Marvin) of Lumberton and Melissa Ann Hunt (Randy) of Lumberton; her close friend Otis Gainey; and her friend Robeson Rd. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boles-Biggs Funeral Home Chapel (801 N Chestnut St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
