He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Evans, Sr. and Eva Mae Butler King. He is survived by: his wife Susan Yvonne Davis Evans; his children, James F. Evans, III (Patricia) of Palm Harbor, FL, Stacy C. Evans (Delisa) of Pembroke and Amanda Evans Thompson (Rakeem) of Red Springs; his siblings, Ronald Evans, Gail Evans, Rita Kissham (Danny) and Rose Carroll; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Andrew (Elizabeth), Layla (Effie), Ainsleigh, Allison and Mason. He is also survived by seventeen nieces and nephews.
