He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Leland Hester Sr. and Marjorie Bullock Hester; and his brothers, David Hester and Rocky Hester. He is survived by: his wife Kristin Walters Hester; his children, Zachary Steven Hester of Whiteville and Kennedy Grace Hester of Houston, TX; his siblings, Janice Hosler (Tony) of Lumberton, Olen L. Hester Jr. of Lumberton, Ricky Hester (Carol) of Lumberton and Bobby Ray Hester (Benji) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his niece Sonya McGirt (Chris) of Lumberton.
