He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie J. Cummings and Daisy Mae Cummings; his siblings, Diana Jean Cummings and Samuel Cummings; and his daughter Shaunty M. Cummings.
He is survived by: his children, Kayla S. Cummings and Tomahawk L. Bowen; his siblings, Willie J. Cummings Jr. (Twyla) of Lumberton, Wilma L. Oxendine of Pembroke and Brenda Faye Locklear (Buddy) of Rowland; his grandchildren, Lumbeeyah S. Graham and Josiyah K. Williamson; and his caregiver Pauline Oxendine.
