With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Benson of Lumberton, North Carolina, born in Crawford, Texas, who passed away on June 23, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Glenn; and her sister Jill Brown. She is survived by: her husband Burt Benson; her children, Burritt "Bucky" E. Benson III (Sara) of Lumberton, NC, Amy Benson of New Bern, NC and Stephen Benson of Lumberton, NC; and her grandchildren, Ellis Benson, Sarahgrace Mitchell (Ty), Emily Snipes and Caleb Benson.
