Jean Britt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Britt (Lumberton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jean departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jean. Though Jean may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Evander Colon Britt and Ollie Nobles Britt; and her siblings, Billy French Britt and Penny Hartzler. She is survived by: her daughter Lynette Lamb (Mike); her granddaughter Heather Lamb Greene (Chris); her great grandchildren, Claudia Greene and Greta Greene Rosario (Cris); and her great great grandchildren, Scarlett and Katherine.
Though arrangements have not yet been finalized, the family invites those wishing to honor Jean's love of animals to consider a donation to the Robeson County Humane Society at PO Box 3609, Lumberton, NC 28359.
