She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Hardie Bell (Bill) and Orpah Maynor Bell; her siblings, Michael, Marcus Bell and Linda B. Locklear; and the father of her child Riley Kerns, Jr. (Tony).
She is survived by: her son Stephen; her siblings, Harry Bell (Vickie) of Laurinburg, Jeffrey Bell (Pam) of Inman, Sheila Locklear (Jackson), Virginia Emanuel (Gelyne) and Betty Hunt of Lumberton; Adele Mitchell of Baltimore, Maryland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
During her mother's long and difficult battle with a colon cancer diagnosis and Alzheimer's disease, Jeanie served as her steadfast caregiver, offering selfless comfort, dignity and tireless care through every step of the journey.
