He was predeceased by: his father James Arnold Locklear; and his stepson Erik Locklear. He is survived by: his mother Hazel Locklear; his siblings, James Anthony Locklear, Terry Jaron Locklear (Christina) of Mt. Olive, NC, Michael Lynn Hunt (Norma) of Lumbeton, NC, Wanda Kaye Locklear of Fairmont, NC, Cindy Lavera Williamson of Fairmont, NC, Tabatha Jean Williams of Lumberton, NC and Jawanna Lynn Locklear (Marc) of Chadbourn, NC; and his close friends, Red and Brother Man. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Floyd Funeral Services, Inc. (1549 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340).
