He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Jean Oxendine (Terry) and Gloria Chavis (Daryl); his grandchildren, Jason Cardwell (Hannah), Ashlee Oxendine (Kendrick), Jessica Oxendine (Joshua), Kendra Carter and Garrison Carter; his great grandchildren, Bella, Charlotte, Kenlee, Jacob, Alivia, Lukas, Justyce and Lilah; his former wife Peggy Woodell Cardwell; and his sister Gloria "Susie" Powers.
