He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Christine Floyd McVicker; and his sister Doris Faulk. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Locklear McVicker; his children, Jimmie McVicker, Jr. (Jennifer), Christopher McVicker (Lydia), James Patrick McVicker (Cassie) and Christina McVicker Locklear (Jammie); his grandchildren, Jacob Lee McVicker, LaFredrick Lamar Perry, Romesh LaVenta Perry, Christopher McVicker, Jr., Myeisha Renee Perry, Tristan Dain McVicker, Brooklyn Nicole McVicker, Addison Grey McVicker, Bryonna Jaylyn Locklear, Kaylyn Christina Locklear and Jayme Claireese Locklear; and his brothers, Elton Britt and Leo Stone.
