He is survived by: his wife Ruth Dawson; his children, Ricky Dawson (Deva) of Albemarle, Tony Dawson (Diane) of St. Pauls, Chris Dawson, Corey Locklear of Lumberton and Lucinda Callahan (Darrell) of Shannon; and his sister Glenda Goodwin (Jack) of Effingham, SC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
