He is survived by: his son Christopher Simmons; his sister Carolyn Phillips of Lumberton, NC; his sibling's children, Gloria Wilcox of Lumberton, NC and Anthony Britt of Lumberton, NC; and his close friends, Kandi Rogers of Lumberton, NC and Bill Pittman (Quessie) of Lumberton, NC..
