With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Bracey Freeman of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Carroll Freeman and Virginia Bracey Freeman; his wife Vicki Woodle Freeman; and his sister Judy Carol Freeman. He is survived by: his brother Lawrence Jeffrey "Jeff" Freeman; his daughters, Amy Jo Freeman Rooks (Shane) of Lumberton, Caroline Freeman Lloyd (Jody) of Lumberton and Beth Freeman Powers (Sam) of Wilmington; his sisters, Peggy Freeman Barrington of Lumberton and Linda Freeman Miller of Lumberton; and his grandchildren, Noah Shane Rooks, Cameron Jase Britt, Colin Joseph Britt, Addison Jo Rooks, Roman James Powers and Atticus Freeman Rooks.
