He is survived by: his wife Elaine Miller Nicoll; his children, Christy Nicoll Clement (Richard), John Charles "Chuck" Nicoll, III (Ellen), Joey Randall Nicoll (Jamie) and Todd Nicoll (Sandi); and his grandchildren, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Jake, Madison, Holden, Haley, Sierra, Karmin and Luke.
