He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Isaac; his cousin William DeMarco Oxendine; his father John Christopher Chavis Sr.; his stepdaughter Stephanie Scott; his mother Rena Oxendine; his siblings, Ashley Hunt, Tori Hunt, Deanna Chavis and Ryan Oxendine; and his siblings' children, Riley, Jace and Lee. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles cousins.
