He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sarah D. Locklear, Herbert Lowry, Sr. and Gertrude J. Lowry. He is survived by: his parents, Rev. Herbert Lowry, Jr. and Connie Locklear Lowry; his sisters, Chassadie Vance (Shane) of Blacksburg, SC and Altmann Lowry of Lumberton, NC; his nieces and nephews, Payton Vance, Brinlee, Connher Locklear, Ashton Vance (Mary Kaitlyn), Devin, Roman Lowry-Chavis and Beacon Jordan Ryett; his great-nephew Shepard Vance; and his aunts and uncles, Ellen Lowry, Ronda Lowry Deese (Kent), Paula Lowry Hunt (Johnny), Perry Lowry, Dwayne Lowry (Teresa) and Jody Lowry. He is also survived by cousins, family, church family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chestnut Street Methodist Church (200 E 8th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
