He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cleveland Young and Madeline Thorndyke Young; and his grandson Dustin Lynn Kinlaw. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Davis Young; his children, Joseph Cleveland Young, II (Lisa), Jason Henry Young (Heather) and Melissa Young Kinlaw (Jerry); his sister Rhetta Griffin; and his grandchildren, Brenda A. Walters (Bradley), Trevor F. Kinlaw (Summer), Breanna Y. Weibe (Cory), Morgan K. Young, Parker R. Young and Elin K. Young. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
