He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Pittman and Essie "Bess" Pittman; and his siblings, William "C. B." Pittman, Elizabeth "Lib" Boyd, Anna Laura Pittman, Patricia Pittman, Dorthey "Mig" Bowen and Rosa Lee Kinlaw.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra M. Pittman; his children, Kevin Pittman (Melissa) of Richfield, NC, Matthew Lovette (Katherine) and Jennifer Wilson (Ben) of Southport, NC; his grandchildren, Kirsten, Aubri, Kinsley, Logan Pittman, Solomon, Nolan Herring and Khloe Perry; and his brother Larry Pittman (Nancy) of Lumberton, NC.
