He was predeceased by: his mother Beverly Ann Pittman Townsend; his grandparents, William C. Townsend, Dorothy Mae Allen Townsend, David Pittman and Annie Laura Pittman; and his uncle Mitchell Pittman.
He is survived by: his father Allen Townsend (Terry) of Lumberton; his son Auden Townsend of Lumberton; his brother Brad Townsend (Olivia); his nephew Kaden Layne Townsend of Lumberton; and his aunts and uncles, Janet Hester (Lee) of Bladenboro, Patricia Willoughby (Paul) of Lumberton, Christine Pittman, William Townsend (Shirley) of Lumberton, Tony Adams of Lumberton and Russell Pittman of St. Pauls. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
