She was predeceased by: her husband Edward L. Wormley; her siblings, Charlie Jr., Donnell Bowden and Brenda Bowden; and her friend Clark Windley.
She is survived by: her children, Edith B. Elliott and Michael Wormley (Jody); her siblings, Carolyn Powell (David), Gloria Tyndall (Lawrence), Linda McMillian (William), Flora Stephens, Herman Bowden (Vera), Dannie Bowden (Juanita), Ervin Robinson, Macey Johnson and Furman Howell; her grandchildren, Elisha Nicole Bowden, Alexandra Wormley and Andrew Wormley; and her great grandchildren, Emani Thompson, Zaire and Zion Bowden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.
