We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2024, at the age of 83, Louise Butler of Lumberton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Louise departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Louise. Though Louise may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Lanier and John Thomas Lanier; and her children, Lilly Christine Friend, Jerry Wayne Butler and Michael Dewey Butler.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael Shane Smith, Jennifer Smith, Eric Britt and Charlie Wayne Edwards. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous extended family members and friends.
