She was predeceased by: her father Lumbee; her husband Stanford Locklear; her son Dean Locklear; her siblings, Royal Barton, Paul Barton, George Lloyd, Sally Bullard, Mary Graham, Doris Barton, Wendy Barton and Delores Dial; her mother Debra Locklear; and her siblings' children, Jeffery Autry, Bobby Len, Jason Brandon and Shana Lynn.
She is survived by: her son Gearonie; and her siblings, Betty (Larry Sampson), Peggy (late Bobby Earl Hunt), Rose (Glen White), Linda B. Dial, Emma J. Brewer, Helen Locklear and Alex (late Janice Lyn).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (3575 N Roberts Ave, Lumberton, NC 28360). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
