It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Rice of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Parnell; her husband Talmadge M. Rice; her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Johnnie Phillips; her grandson Shannon Phillips; and her siblings, Ernest Parnell, Horace Parnell, Mickey Parnell and Maxine Wimberley.
She is survived by: her sons, Talmadge Carroll Rice (Debbie) of Virginia and Timothy D. Rice (Pat) of Lumberton, NC; her siblings, Tommy Parnell (Jackie) of Lumberton, NC, Josephine Patterson of Lumberton, NC and Myrtle Smith of Virginia; and her caregivers, Danny, Karen and Nicole Stone. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
