With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Pittman of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 13, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gregory Pittman and Hattie Pittman; his wife Arbutus Pittman; and his siblings, Dora Smith, Bea Thomas, Jessie Britt, Dorothy Huggins, Jasper Pittman and Edward Pittman.

He is survived by : his son Timmy Pittman; his sister Lillian Faye Long; his grandchildren, Nicole Pittman Adams (Cody) and Alec Pittman (Kaleigh); and his great grandchild Levi Pittman.

A graveside service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pittman Family Cemetery (3788 Beulah Church Rd, Lumberton, NC 28358).
