She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Horne (Mickey); her parents, Russell T. Oxendine and Patricia Ann Oxendine; her brothers, Clifton Oxendine (Tommy) and Carl Oxendine (Dickie); and her nephew Kent Oxendine.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jerry Oxendine of Fairmont, Russell Oxendine (Buck) of Lumberton and Latashia Brady of Charleston, SC; her siblings' children, Amanda Oxendine of Pembroke, Destiny Oxendine of Pembroke, Alexes Oxendine of Pembroke, Katlyn Henson of Charleston, SC, Chelsey Scott of Charleston, SC, Kristen Hollar of Charleston, SC, Jessica Thomas of Charlotte, NC, Tommy Oxendine of Pembroke and R. Aaron Scott of Lancaster, CA; and her stepmother Peggy Strickland. She is also survived by six great nieces; and eight great nephews.
