It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Cardwell (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Brooks and Frances Hunt; her sister Betty Lowery; and her nephews, Virgil and Chad Lowery.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Cardwell; her children, Joshua Chavis (Devon) of Lumberton, N. C., Ron Chavis (Ashley) of Rowland, N. C., Shaun Chavis (Marsha) of Lumberton, N. C, April Graves (Cedric) of Greensboro, N. C. and Corey Cardwell (Sandra) of Rowland, N. C.; her siblings, Ronnie Brooks (Delois), Steve Brooks (Betty Rose), Elrod Jones, Susan Bullard (Lewis) and Jackie Grimsley (Frank Ray); and her siblings-in-law, Anita Cardwell, Kim Brown and Terry Cardwell (Kimlah). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
