He was predeceased by: his sister Lashanda Nicole Colvin; and his significant other Cigi Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Janie Floyd of Lumberton, NC and Christopher Cates of Lillington, NC; his sisters, Sandra Floyd, Dorothy Floyd and Pamela Love of Lumberton, NC; and his partner's children, Asia, Rashie, Quinton and Lexus. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Norman had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Central & Worley Mortuary (219 E 3rd St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
