As we bid adieu to Odessa's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Odessa has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Robert Evans "Papa Cool" and Bertha Cade Evans; her brothers, George Evans, Gary Robert Evans, Larry Eugene Floyd and George Lee Thompson; and her son Eric Montreal Evans.
She is survived by: her daughter Felicia Evans Williams (Russell Williams) of Rockville, MD; and her sister Glenda "Dale" Evans Harris of Laurinburg, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Odessa's daughter kindly asks donations to be made to the American Heart and/or Lung Association in memory of Odessa Evans McMillan.
