She is survived by: her children, Wesley Pines of Lumberton and Smithfield Packaging; her husband James Brown, Jr.; her children, Reginald Peterson (Danielle) of Ohio, Thurman Peterson (Terri) of Florida, Mathesia Peterson of Fayetteville and Jacklyn Peterson McKoy (Michael); her sister Mary Peterson of Virginia; her niece Taffi Guinyard of Charlotte; her nephews, Daniel Richardson and Lafayette Peterson of Virginia; and her godmother Eva Ward Pittman Maynard of Lumberton. She is also survived by relatives, friends.
