She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chester Jr. and Helen Rose Watkins; her siblings, James Chester Watkins III and Angela Rose Taylor; and her niece Crystal Rose Hester.
She is survived by: her niece Abigail Rose Hester; her nephew Jason Elwood Justice; and her great-nephews, Edward Craven Hester III and Braxton Dallas Hester.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Floyd Memory Gardens (3720 Old Whiteville Rd, Lumberton, NC 28358).
