He is survived by: his wife Dyanne PreVatte Stone; his children, Mark Stone of Harrisonburg, VA, Betsy Casanave (Eddie) of Cary, NC, Dawn Stone of Wilmington, NC and Laura Collins (Rian); his sister Gail Stone Johnson of Lumberton, NC; his grandchildren, Matthew Pleasant, Oliver Hargadon (Rae Pleasant), Samuel Pleasant, Seth Pleasant and Abbagail Pleasant; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Lynne Montgomery and Alan PreVatte (Sheila). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
