He is survived by: his son Barden of Raleigh; his brothers, William, Tom and Robert; his siblings' children, Amanda (James), Cynthia, Caitlin (Austin), Kemp (Betsy) and Joe; Timothy Todd, Mark, Gene Sampson, Barbara, Glenn McQueen, Amy, Casey McQueen, Rose and Tammy Privette.
